Renew Power Group is proud to announce its investment in the Maroona Wind Farm. The project has been developed by Future Energy. With equity funding from Renew Power Group and German based ProVentum International, this 6.9 MW wind farm will comprise of two Vestas V126 wind turbines.
Projected to generate, on average, 30 GWh of energy a year into the Powercor electricity network, this project will be able to power over 4,000 households. The total output of the wind farm and the corresponding large generation certificates are contracted to Alinta Energy under a long term power purchase agreement.
